Dr Khalid completed her MBBS degree in 1994 at the Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi. After the house job, she completed her training in ultrasound in 1999 and worked as a sonologist at a private IVF Centre alongside another private clinic for few years, before establishing her private practice. She completed the RDMS exams in 2003 from USA. In 2006, she was a research fellow under Prof. Kypros at Harris Birthright Unit, Kings College Hospital, London where she accredited with the Fetal Medical Foundation and completed her Diploma in Advanced Obstetric Ultrasound from RCOG. Dr. Khalid resumed her private practice but due to personal reasons had to return to London in 2012. She has attended numerous short courses to keep herself updated.
Dr Khalid is GMC registered with a full license to practice. She is highly skilled with 18 years of diverse experience in medical ultrasound. She has locumed at a number of NHS and private clinics previously. Currently, she works for two NHS Trusts, as a Consultant Sonographer and as a Breast Specialty Doctor.
