Professional and Personal profile

Mr. Perry is a London based Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and is on the GMC Specialist list in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In 2011 he was listed in The Times Magazine as one of the country’s 50 top surgeons.

Mr Perry is both medically and dentally qualified, graduating at Leeds University. He then completed his surgical and dental fellowship training (FRCS and FDS) in the North East of England before training in maxillofacial surgery at Kings College Hospital London, East Grinstead and Guildford. He has also gained experience abroad at both a leading trauma unit (Sunnybrook Hospital, Canada) and leading craniofacial unit (Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Sweden).

He was appointed as a consultant initially to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire in 2001, but relocated to Belfast in September 2004, due to his trauma interest, gaining over 10 years of experience as clinical lead in craniofacial trauma for the region. His NHS practice also included post traumatic and other causes of facial deformity / disproportion, salivary gland disease and skin lesions.
More recently he has moved back to London to develop further his trauma / skin cancer expertise and is now a substantive consultant based at Northwick Park Hospital, providing services also to the Regional Major trauma unit at St Mary’s.

Mr Perry is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education and has published extensively, including several books. He runs several courses and has lectured both nationally and internationally.
Mr Perry sees conditions affecting the mouth, jaws and face, including facial deformity, facial trauma and skin lesions occurring above the collar bones (moles, plaques, lumps and bumps).
