Dr. Lehmann is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist working at the North West London Hospitals NHS Trust
(Northwick Park Hospital).
  • Basic radiology training on the Bart’s & The London Radiology Training
  • Scheme.
  • Year 6 Endovascular Fellowship at St. George’s Hospital, London. PhD and MD(Res) from Imperial
  • College (University of London).
  • Post-CCST Fellowships in interventional radiology (IR) and abdominal imaging on Toronto General Hospital rotation, and 6-month paediatric IR fellowship at Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital. Interests include both vascular and non-vascular IR, and setting up a rupture AAA / emergency EVAR service at Northwick Park Hospital.
  • A long-standing interest in research has led to numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
Dr. Lehmann undertakes both vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology procedures, as well as diagnostic radiology work. He is currently extensively involved with the North West Outer London Vascular Network, treating vascular patients referred from Hillingdon Hospital, Ealing Hospital as well as from Central Middlesex Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital.
He is also part of the IR Unit at Northwick Park Hospital that provides interventional radiology services to gastroenterology / GI surgical patients from St. Mark’s Hospital.

  • Diagnostic angiography, balloon angioplasty & venoplasty, and stent / stent graft insertion.
  • Abdominal aortic stent grafting (EVAR).
  • Thrombolysis.
  • Aspiration / balloon thrombectomy.
  • Embolisation.
  • Pseudoaneurysm thrombin injection.
  • IVC filter insertion / retrieval.
  • Percutaneous central venous access (e.g. Hickman / feeding lines).
  • Port-a-cath insertion / removal.
  • Foreign body retrieval (including snaring lost guidewires).
  • Renal tract access (nephrostomy).
  • Ureteric dilation / stent / nephroureteric tube insertion.
  • Transjugular / plugged liver biopsy.
  • Percutaneous gastrostomy / gastrojejunostomy.
  • Percutaneous biliary drainage ± stent insertion.
  • Aspiration / drainage / injections.
